Resolution No. PC-2003-29
Page 3
6. Adequate public safety measures have been incorporated into the
design of the plan.
Necessary public safety measures have been incorporated into the design
of the plan. The removal of two of the structures which are in the
landslide setback areas will be a benefit to the public safety. The new
structures would have automatic fire sprinklers.
7. The plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD District:
The development of this parcel conforms to the purposes of the PUD
district as the property has special chazacteristics that aze unique and
require special considerations.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the development of these lots,
with the agreed upon setbacks from the landslides, would meet the City's
acceptable risk policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING:
Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-17, the application of William and
Betty Currin for PUD development plan approval to subdivide an
approximately 2.22-acre parcel into three single-family residential lots
located at 8272 Sassafras Court, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit
"B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
adoption.
