THE CITY OF <br /> 1 0 <br /> �LEASANTON CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> March 3, 2020 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: ACCEPT PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT PERFORMED BY UNITED STORM <br /> WATER, INC., FOR THE 2018 TRASH CAPTURE DEVICE INSTALLATION, <br /> PROJECT NO. OSD-19-201 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The project consisted of the installation of 136 storm drain trash capture devices installed <br /> throughout the City of Pleasanton. The project supports the City's National Pollutant Discharge <br /> Elimination System (NPDES) Permit to prevent trash from entering the storm drain system. <br /> The project is complete and ready for City Council acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the project as complete. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the project. <br /> 3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $3,151 to United Storm Water, Inc. <br /> thirty days after recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for this project totaled $63,020 allocated from the Annual Trash Capture Devices <br /> Capital Improvement Project (CIP) NO. 20443 out of the Storm Replacement Fund. <br /> Expenditures for this project totaled $63,020 and the City paid $59,869 per the agreement. The <br /> retention amount of$3,151 will be covered by the remaining balance in the Annual Trash <br /> Capture Devices CIP. <br />
