RESOLUTION NO. 20-1134 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON INITIATING <br /> PROCEEDINGS FOR THE FORMATION OF A LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS WINDSOR LANDSCAPE <br /> MAINTENANCE DISTRICT 2020-1 <br /> WHEREAS, the formation of the Windsor Landscape Maintenance District 2020-1 <br /> ("District") is being initiated pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (the "Act"), <br /> Division 15, Part 2, Chapter 2, Sections 22585 et. seq. of the California Streets and Highways <br /> Code, for the maintenance and servicing of landscaping and other improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Windsor Landscape Maintenance District 2020-1 is proposed to replace <br /> the Landscape Maintenance District 1993-1, Windsor; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Landscape Maintenance District 1993-1, Windsor will be replaced only if <br /> there is a majority support for the proposed Windsor Landscape Maintenance District 2020-1; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council determines that said territory will be specifically benefited by <br /> the maintenance and servicing of said improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 22585 of the Act provides that the formation of Windsor Landscape <br /> Maintenance District 2020-1 shall be initiated by resolution. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. SCI Consulting Group is designated by this Council as the Engineer of <br /> Work for the purpose of these formation proceedings. <br /> SECTION 2. The proposed assessment district shall be designated as Windsor <br /> Landscape Maintenance District 2020-1, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, and <br /> shall include that certain real property situated in the State of California, County of Alameda, City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> SECTION 3. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally <br /> described as follows: <br /> Maintenance of the masonry walls, trees, shrubbery, groundcover, irrigation systems, entry <br /> features and common area drainage ditches, along with furnishing all water and power for the <br /> irrigation system, situated in Lot A, on the northeast side of Tapestry Way and Minton Court, in <br /> the northwest corner of the subdivision, and also Lot C in the southwest corner of the subdivision, <br /> Tract 6320 in the City of Pleasanton, generally shown and identified in Exhibit A attached to this <br /> resolution. <br /> SECTION 4. The City Council hereby directs the engineer to prepare and file with the <br /> City Clerk a report in accordance with Article 4 of Chapter 1 of the Landscaping and Lighting Act <br /> of 1972. <br /> SECTION 5. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the <br /> book of original resolutions. <br />
