CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 634 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-15.13 of ARTICLE 2, CHAPTER 8, TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON BY THE ADDITION THERETO OF SUBSECTION (g) RELATING TO SEWER CONNECTION FEES. ~THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS ~!FOLLOWS: That 92-15.13 of Article 2, Chapter 8, Title II of the Ordinance ~Code of the City of Pleasanton be amended by the addition thereto of subsection (g) relating to sewer connection fees, said subsec- tion, as added, to provide as follows: "92-15.13 Connection Charg.es (g) For each dwelling unit tributary to the sewage treat- ment plant owned and operated by the City of Pleasanton there shall be imposed a surcharge in order to finance acquisition of additional sprinkler facilities and irrigation fields to accommodate the sewage burden generated by additional connection~ consistent with and in addition to the connection charges provided for in (a) hereof: No. of Bedrooms per Connection charge per Dwelling Unit Dwelling Unit 1 $20.00 2 20.00 3 21.00 4 22.00 5 23.00 6 24.00 For each mobilehome a surcharge of $20.00, and for commercial and industrial units as defined in (c) above a surcharge in an amount which bears the same relation to the amount derived under (c) above as $20.00 does to $350.00. The surcharge herein provided for shall be in effect only so long as is necessary to finance acquisition by the City of the use of approximate- ly 50 additional acres of land adjacent its sewag~ treatment plant and additional pipes, sprinkler heads and pumps necessary to effectively use said land for the sprinkling of sewage effluent.
