The second dwelling unit shall not be sold separately, subdivided or held <br />under a different legal ownership than the primary residence. <br />2. Only one other residential unit is permitted on the property with a second <br />unit. <br />3. The second dwelling shall be considered legal only so long as either the <br />primary residence or second unit is occupied by the owner of record of the <br />property. <br />4. The resident owner shall be a signatory to any lease for the second unit. <br />5. The second unit is limited to the maximum size allowed by Chapter 18.106 <br />of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br />6. One additional off-street parking space on the property shall be made <br />continuously available to the occupants of the second unit. This parking <br />space shall not be placed in the required front or street side yard and shall <br />not be a tandem space. <br />The owner of the lot on which a second unfit is located shall participate in <br />the City's monitoring program to determine rent levels of the second <br />units being rented. <br />8. Amend Section 18.28.030(A) of Chapter 18.28, "A Agricultural <br />District" as follows: <br />18.28.030 Permitted Uses: <br />A. One-family dwellings, second units and farm employee housing <br />for persons employed on the premises. Not more than one <br />dwelling unit, other than farm employee housing or a second unit, <br />shall be permitted on each site; <br />Remainder of Chapter 18.28, no changes. <br />SECTION FOUR. Add Section 18.32.030(H) to Chapter 18.32, "R-1 One-Family <br />Residential Districts," and delete Section 18.32.040(P) in <br />Chapter 18.32 as follows: <br />Page 7 <br />
