ORDINANCE NO. 2206 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING TITLE 11, CHAPTER 11.20, SECTION 11.20.010, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO SET AND REVISE SPEED LIMITS FOR EL CHARRO ROAD AND STONERIDGE DRIVE BETWEEN KAMP DRIVE AND TREVOR PARKWAY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Title 11, Vehicles and Traffic, Chapter 11.20, Speed Limits Section 11.20.010, Speed Limits in Certain Zones, of the Municipal Code of the City of Pleasanton, is hereby amended as follows: 11.20.010 Speed limits in certain zones. Based upon an engineering and traffic investigation and study, the prima facie speed limit shall be as set forth in this section on those streets, or parts of said streets, designated in this section when signs are in place giving notice thereof: I-1. El Charro Road: 1. From northern city limits to 1,000 feet south of Stoneridge Drive the speed limit shall be 40 miles per hour. HH. Stoneridge Drive: 8. From Kamp Drive to Trevor Parkway the speed limit shall be 40 miles per hour. SECTION 2. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen days after its adoption in `The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen days after its adoption. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its passage and adoption.
