MOTION: It was m/s by Narum/Pentin to approve and authorize the City Manager to execute loan agreement and promissory note for $732,548 with Hacienda Business Park Owners Association to renovate landscaped areas in Hacienda Business Park and to appropriate $732,548 from the Downtown and North Pleasanton CIP Reserve Fund to fund the loan. Motion passed by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmembers Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thorne Noes: Councilmembers Brown, Testa Absent: None 16. Ratify Mayor's appointment of a Vice Mayor and City Council assignments to various committees and boards for calendar year 2020 Councilmember Brown supported the appointment of Councilmember Narum for Vice-Mayor. Mayor Thorne thanked Councilmember Brown for her service as Vice-Mayor. Mayor Thorne requested that the issue of alternates to various committees raised by Councilmember Testa return to Council for further discussion. COUNCIL REPORTS Councilmember Brown noted the recent Christmas tree lighting. Councilmember Pentin provided a summary of the of League of California Cities initiatives for the upcoming year.
