ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING TITLE 11, CHAPTER 11.20, SECTION 11.20.010, OF THE <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE TO SET AND REVISE SPEED LIMITS FOR EL CHARRO <br /> ROAD AND STONERIDGE DRIVE BETWEEN KAMP DRIVE AND TREVOR <br /> PARKWAY <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Title 11, Vehicles and Traffic, Chapter 11.20, Speed Limits Section <br /> 11.20.010, Speed Limits in Certain Zones, of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> Pleasanton, is hereby amended to add new subsections, amend existing subsections, <br /> and delete subsections, as follows: <br /> 11.20.010 Speed limits in certain zones. <br /> Based upon an engineering and traffic investigation and study, the prima facie <br /> speed limit shall be as set forth in this section on those streets, or parts of said streets, <br /> designated in this section when signs are in place giving notice thereof: <br /> -1. El Charro Road: <br /> 1. From northern city limits to 1,000 feet south of Stoneridge Drive the <br /> speed limit shall be 40 miles per hour. <br /> HH. Stoneridge Drive: <br /> 8. From Kamp Drive to Newten4lay Trevor Parkway the speed limit <br /> shall be 35 40 miles per hour. <br /> 9. From Newton Way to Trevor Parkway the speed limit shall be 35 <br /> miles per hour. <br /> SECTION 2. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general <br /> circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be <br /> posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its passage <br /> and adoption. <br />
