<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-84 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING THAT THE BERNAL PROPERTY PREANNEXATION <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE <br />CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO IS CONSISTENT WITH THE GENERAL <br />PLAN AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE PREANNEXATION <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and COlmty of San Francisco is proposing to enter into a Preannexation <br />Development Agreement with the City of Pleasanton for the approximately 510- <br />acre Bernal Property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on June 9, June 23, June 28, July 7, July 16, <br />October 7, and October 27, 1999 and held public hearings on the completeness and <br />adequacy of the Environmental Impact Report and documents for the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 7, 1999, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of a Final Environmental Impact Report prepared for the <br />Proj ect; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing on October 27, 1999, the Planning Commission <br />considered all related reports, documents, testimony, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 27, 1999, the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval of the draft September 1998 Specific Plan for the Bernal Property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed Preannexation Development <br />Agreement is consistent with the City of Pleasanton's General Plan and the Draft <br />Bernal Property Specific Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVESTHEFOLLO~G: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Finds that the Preannexation Development Agreement between the City and County <br />of San Francisco and the City of Pleasanton to be consistent with the General Plan <br />and the Bernal Property Specific Plan. <br />
