<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-82 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE PREZONING AND <br />REZONING OF THE SAN FRANCISCO WATER DEPARTMENT BERNAL <br />PROPERY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the San Francisco Water Department has applied for: (1) rezoning of the one-acre <br />parcel owned by the City of Pleasanton from I-P (Industrial Park) to P (Public and <br />Institutional), (2) prezoning of the portion of the Alameda County Transportation <br />Corridor to Planned Unit Development (PUD) - Transportation Corridor, and (3) <br />prezoning of the Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way to Planned Unit Development <br />(PUD) - Transportation Corridor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on June 9, June 23, June 28, July 7, July 16, <br />October 7, and October 27, 1999 and held public hearings on the completeness and <br />adequacy of the Environmental Impact Report and documents for the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 7, 1999, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of a Final Environmental Impact Report prepared for this <br />application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 27, 1999, the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval of the draft September 1998 Specific Plan for the Bernal Property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the prezoning and rezoning of the subject <br />properties are consistent with the City of Pleasanton General Plan and the Draft <br />Bernal Property Specific Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVESTHEFOLLO~G: <br /> <br />Section I. <br /> <br />Finds that the: (1) rezoning of the one-acre parcel owned by the City of Pleasanton <br />from I-P (Industrial Park) to P (Public and Institutional), (2) prezoning of the <br />portion of the Alameda County Transportation Corridor to Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) - Transportation Corridor, and (3) prezoning of the Union <br />Pacific Railroad right-of-way to Planned Unit Development (PUD) - Transportation <br />Corridor, is consistent with the City of Pleasanton General Plan and the Draft Bernal <br />Property Specific Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
