<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-81 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE PREZONING AND <br />REZONING OF THE SAN FRANCISCO WATER DEPARTMENT BERNAL <br />PROPERY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the San Francisco Water Department has applied for: (I) prezoning of the 439.7 <br />acres of the Bernal Property in unincorporated Alameda County to Pleasanton's <br />Planned Unit Development (PUD) District; and (2) rezoning of the approximately <br />70.3 acres of the Bernal Property already within the jurisdiction of the City of <br />Pleasanton from I-P (Industrial Park) to Planned Unit Development (PUD) District; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on June 9, June 23, June 28, July 7, July 16, <br />October 7, and October 27, 1999 and held public hearings on the completeness and <br />adequacy of the Environmental Impact Report and documents for the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 7, 1999, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of a Final Environmental Impact Report prepared for this <br />application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 27, 1999, the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval of the draft September 1998 Specific Plan for the Bernal Property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the prezoning and rezoning of the subject <br />properties are consistent with the City of Pleasanton General Plan and the Draft <br />Bernal Property Specific Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section \. <br /> <br />Finds that the (I) prezoning of the 439.7 acres of the Bernal Property in <br />unincorporated Alameda County to Pleasanton's Planned Unit Development (PUD) <br />District; and (2) rezoning of the approximately 70.3 acres of the Bernal Property <br />already within the jurisdiction ofthe City of Pleasant on from I-P (Industrial Park) to <br />Planned Unit Development (PUD) District, is consistent with the City of Pleasant on <br />General Plan and the Draft Bernal Property Specific Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
