THE CITY OF 4. <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£ASANTONo <br /> December 17, 2019 <br /> Community Development <br /> Planning Division <br /> TITLE: APPROVAL OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH <br /> CASCADIA CONSULTING GROUP FOR $249,985 FOR SERVCIES <br /> RELATED TO PREPERATION OF A CLIMATE ACTION PLAN UPDATE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City Council identified preparation of an updated Climate Action Plan (CAP 2.0) as <br /> a priority in the 2019-2020 Work Plan. Accordingly, staff prepared a Request for <br /> Proposals (RFP) for professional services, interviewed three firms, and selected <br /> Cascadia Consulting Group to lead the CAP 2.0 consultant team. Rincon Consultants <br /> will assist Cascadia in the update effort. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to execute a Professional Services Agreement with <br /> Cascadia Consulting Group in the amount of $249,985 for services related to the <br /> preparation of an updated Climate Action Plan. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> The current Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget includes $300,000 to fund the <br /> Climate Action Plan update, CIP No. 18439. The anticipated cost for consulting services <br /> of $249,985 will be charged to the project budget. <br />
