<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
<br /> PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A PLANNED UNIT
<br /> DEVELOPMENT (PUD) REZONING FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF
<br /> PLEASANTON FOR THE JOHNSON DRIVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ZONE
<br /> (JDEDZ) AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-105
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for a Planned Unit Development
<br /> (PUD) Rezoning to rezone 12 parcels at 7106 through 7315 Johnson Drive and 7035
<br /> and 7080 Commerce Circle, comprising approximately 40 acres known as the Johnson
<br /> Drive Economic Development Zone, from Planned Unit Development-General and Light
<br /> Industrial (PUD-G&LI) District, Planned Unit Development-Industrial/Commercial-Office
<br /> (PUD-I/C-O) District, and General Industrial (I-G-40,000) District to Planned Unit
<br /> Development — Commercial (PUD-C) District (the "Project"); and
<br /> WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public meeting of December 11, 2019, the
<br /> Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and
<br /> recommendations of the City staff concerning the proposed PUD Rezoning; and
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), a
<br /> Revised Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (RFSEIR) was prepared and
<br /> recommended for certification for the Project.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City
<br /> of Pleasanton, based on the entire record of proceedings, including the oral and written
<br /> staff reports and all public comment and testimony:
<br /> Section 1: The Planning Commission hereby recommends the following to the City
<br /> Council:
<br /> a. Approval of Case PUD-105, the application of the City of Pleasanton for a
<br /> Planned Unit Development (PUD) Rezoning to rezone 12 parcels at
<br /> 7106 through 7315 Johnson Drive and 7035 and 7080 Commerce Circle,
<br /> comprising approximately 40 acres known as the Johnson Drive Economic
<br /> Development Zone, from Planned Unit Development-General and Light Industrial
<br /> (PUD-G&LI) District, Planned Unit Development-Industrial/Commercial-Office
<br /> (PUD-I/C-O) District, and General Industrial (I-G-40,000) District to PUD-C
<br /> District, subject to the attached map (Exhibit A) and the attached conditions
<br /> (Exhibit B).
<br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
<br /> adoption.

<br />mprovements require approval by Caltrans and thus are outside the immediate control of the
<br /> City. The graphics below (Figures 2 and 3) are intended to provide an overview of the required
<br /> transportation mitigation improvements resulting from the implementation of the JDEDZ. For
<br /> more detailed information, please refer to Chapter 4.D of the DSEIR (Exhibit D).
<br /> The DSEIR concluded that other impacts from the JDEDZ on aesthetics, air quality, biological
<br /> resources, cultural resources, geology and soils, greenhouse gas emissions, hazards and
