<br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION
<br /> Overview
<br /> Panache Academie Pleasanton would occupy Suite C, an approximately 4,908-square-foot
<br /> tenant space in the 22,524-square-foot building. The facility would have no more than 50
<br /> school-aged children at any given time between the ages of four years nine months to 12
<br /> years old and would operate year-round with separate school break programs. During the
<br /> academic school year, guardians will transport their kindergarten readiness child/ren to and
<br /> from the facility. Kindergarten (K) through fifth grade children may be transported to/from the
<br /> facility by their guardians or transported from their school to the facility in one of the applicant's
<br /> six, 15-passenger vans. Each of the components of the proposed operation are outlined in the
<br /> applicant's narrative (Exhibit B) and summarized in the operations section of this report.
<br /> Operations
<br /> Staffing hours would be 8:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. with student sessions taking place between the
<br /> hours of 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays, with three daily
<br /> sessions that have staggered drop-off/pick-up times:
<br /> • Kindergarten Readiness (Transitional Kindergarten): 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
<br /> • Kindergarten: noon-6:30 p.m., and
<br /> • 1St-5th graders: 2:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

<br /> b. Utilize best efforts to locate any new utility trenches outside of the existing canopy of
<br /> the trees to be saved. If this is not feasible, the applicant shall submit a report from a
<br /> certified arborist acceptable to the City indicating trenching will not be detrimental to
<br /> the health of the tree.
<br /> c. Nothing may be stored within the dripline of the tree canopies. This includes
<br /> equipment, oil, gas, chemicals, harmful materials, fill or storage.
<br /> d. No oil, gasoline, chemicals, or other harmful materials shall be deposited or disposed
<br /> within the dripline of the trees or in drainage channels, swales, or areas that may lead
<br /> to the dripline.
<br /> e. No sign, wires, or ropes shall be attached to the trees.
