Attachment 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING <br /> THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO ESTABLISH A FEE FOR PROCESSING SMALL <br /> WIRELESS FACILITY APPLICATIONS <br /> WHEREAS, in response to Federal Communication Commission (FCC) rules adopted in <br /> 2018, on March 11, 2019 the City Council adopted a Policy for small wireless facilities, including <br /> standards, requirements and procedures for processing small wireless permit applications <br /> consistent with the FCC rules; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council Policy includes a requirement that applicants shall submit <br /> the applicable permit application fee established by City Council resolution, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City now wishes to establish an application fee of$3,779 per site for small <br /> wireless facilities within the public right of way, and $3,552 per site for small wireless facilities on <br /> private property, and <br /> WHEREAS, staff has determined these fees are reasonable based on an estimate of <br /> anticipated staff and consultant time necessary to process small wireless facility applications in a <br /> timely manner, and in accordance with the law and the City Council Policies, and that the <br /> proposed fees are consistent with the fees for processing of similar applications for other local <br /> agencies in the area. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Section II (B) of the Master Fee Schedule is amended to add a Small <br /> Wireless Facility Application Fee of $3,779 for facilities in the public right of way, and a Small <br /> Wireless Facility Application Fee of $3,552 for facilities on private property. <br /> SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the <br /> book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on December 3, 2019. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on December 3, 2019, by <br /> the following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br />
