program that is being used as a guideline for this City of Pleasanton program. Mr. Hernandez <br />advised the focus would be to rehab even if the facility was an ADU. It was also noted that the <br />City's program is focused on serving Pleasanton individuals quickly. <br />Commissioner Duggan discussed with Mr. Hernandez the anticipated number of households <br />that this program would be able to assist. It was stated that many who use the program would <br />likely not use the full $150,000 amount and funding would be for smaller projects. <br />Commissioner Kiziloglu again stated her concerns about abuse of the program and <br />Commissioner Galvin felt abuse would be unlikely. Mr. Hernandez addressed concerns about <br />abuse stating that City of Pleasanton clientele that Habitat has contacted are mainly seniors. <br />He noted that Habitat would be managing and maintaining all projects and funds are not being <br />given to the clients. <br />Commissioner Duggan stated that she felt the grant and loan amount recommendation was <br />good and wanted to be sure no other changes would be made. Commissioner Galvin agreed <br />and indicated he did not see any reason not to approve. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Kiziloglu, seconded by Commissioner Duggan, <br />recommending the proposed changes to the Pleasanton Housing Rehabilitation Program be <br />approved by City Council. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Duggan, Galvin and Kiziloglu. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Gaidos, Welsh, and Chairperson Soby. <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION <br />None. <br />COMMISSION REPORTS <br />Commissioner Kiziloglu asked for an update on the East Pleasanton and Stoneridge <br />Development projects, indicating she had heard that the Stoneridge project was going to be <br />20% for affordable housing.
