Presentation of a proclamation declaring October as National Bullying Prevention Month and <br /> October 23 Unity Day <br /> Councilmember Pentin presented the proclamation to Youth Commission members Trinity Chang, <br /> Nishant Jain, and Keshav Patel. Trinity Chang and Keshav Patel thanked Council for the recognition. <br /> 18. Public Comment <br /> Travis Fisher expressed his interest in seeing some of the pop-up events like the OutBreak Art Show in <br /> Livermore to take place in Pleasanton. <br /> Mike Weddle asked Council to investigate the paving of West Las Positas Boulevard between Foothill <br /> and Muirwood Drive. He expressed concern regarding the development of a 486-unit apartment <br /> building near Stoneridge Shopping Center and the bike lane on Foothill Boulevard, specifically the <br /> portion that navigates the sidewalk. Mayor Thorne asked that staff contact Mr. Weddle <br /> Aahon Agrawal requested information regarding activists working on local issues and asked that the <br /> identify of those groups be on the city website so he and others can readily participate in local issues. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> 19. City of Pleasanton Energy Benchmarking Report — Presentation by the 2019 Go Green Initiative <br /> Interns <br /> City Manager Fialho provided a brief overview of the project. <br /> Jill Buck, President, Go Green Initiative presented a brief overview of the project process and thanked <br /> the interns for their hard work. <br /> Trinity Chang reported that 32 high school and college interns were tasked with conducting energy <br /> benchmarking in city buildings which is the practice of measuring a building's energy performance by <br /> comparing it to similar buildings.
