THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON., <br />Economic Vitality <br />Committee <br />Minutes <br />October 17, 2019 <br />7:30 a.m. <br />Remillard Conference Room <br />3333 Busch Road, Pleasanton <br />CALL TO ORDER/INTRODUCTIONS <br />Meeting called to order at 7:35 a.m. by EVC Chair Christina Nystrom Mantha. Committee <br />members present and introduced were Christina Nystrom Mantha, Councilmember Kathy <br />Narum, Ellen Pensky McGraw, Steve Van Dorn, Kristen Hayes Kuse, Harsh Gohil, Shareef <br />Mandavi, Barbara Steinfeld, Tiffany Cadrette, Steve Baker, Will Doerlich, Sylvia Tian, Kristin <br />LaPorte, Michael Li, Steve Berberich and PUSD Trustee Jamie Yee with Glen Sparks. <br />Committee members not in attendance were Chiman Lee, Olivia Sanwong, and Jeffrey Chen. <br />City staff present were Assistant City Attorney Larissa Seto, Economic Development Office <br />Assistant Nicole Rodriguez, Economic Development Specialist Lisa Adamos and Director of <br />Economic Development Pamela Ott. <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />No agenda amendments were made. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />There was no public comment. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The September 19, 2019, meeting minutes were approved as presented on motion by Steve <br />Baker and second by Barbara Steinfeld by a vote of 11-0-4 with Kristen Hayes Kuse, <br />Councilmember Kathy Narum, Steve Berberich and Michael Li abstaining. <br />INFORMATION UPDATES <br />Pamela Ott reviewed the Upcoming Meetings and Events listing. Pamela also shared the <br />recent Pleasanton Progress newsletter that was sent to all addresses in Pleasanton. <br />Ms. Ott asked EVC members to confirm their contact information and whether it could be made <br />publicly available. Jamie Yee commented that committee member direct contact information <br />should be easily accessible to the public, perhaps through the committee listing(s) on the City's <br />website. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br />City Council Liaison Report <br />Councilmember Kathy Narum reported at the October 15 City Council meeting the <br />redevelopment of the Shell gas station/7 Eleven at the corner of Hopyard Avenue and West <br />
