THE CITY OF O <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON, <br /> November 19, 2019 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE FIRST AMENDMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $300,000 WITH <br /> TEICHERT CONSTRUCTION FOR STREET MAINTENANCE <br /> PROJECTS FOR FY 2019/20 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> During the as-needed bid process, Teichert Construction was selected as the as- <br /> needed contractor for street maintenance. The Foothill Road Sidewalk Improvement <br /> project which will include a new asphalt sidewalk, railing, and new pavement markings <br /> will be completed by Teichert. Staff is seeking to amend the as-needed contract with <br /> Teichert Construction for FY 2019/20 to increase the compensation amount to fund this <br /> project. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to amend the agreement with Teichert Construction for FY <br /> 2019/20 in the not-to-exceed amount of $300,000 and approve the allocation of <br /> $112,000 from the Streets CIP General Fund balance to the Foothill Road Sidewalk <br /> Improvement project fund. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The agreement with Teichert Construction is funded by the Street maintenance budget <br /> and the Streets CIP General Fund for FY 2019/20. <br />
