The International Fire Code, 2018 Edition, including both building standards and non-building <br /> standards, as amended and set forth in the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 9, <br /> published by the International Code Council is hereby adopted, together with additional <br /> Appendices D, E (informational purposes), and F (informational purposes) except as set forth in <br /> this chapter. For Chapter 11, only those sections adopted by the State Fire Marshal are adopted. <br /> B. The International Fire Code (IFC) adopted by reference for the purpose of prescribing <br /> regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion in this <br /> chapter by reference is amended by the following additions, deletions and amendments thereto <br /> as set forth in this chapter. Reference numbers herein are taken from the 2019 California Fire <br /> Code (CFC). <br /> C. These regulations shall be known as the Pleasanton Fire Code, hereinafter referred to as "this <br /> code." <br /> D. Where there is a reference in the code to the "Fire Official," "Fire Code Official" or "Authority <br /> Having Jurisdiction," it shall mean the "Fire Chief' or in the absence of the Fire Chief, the Fire <br /> Marshal. <br />
