THE CITY OF 6 <br /> -- -- ' "' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON <br /> October 15, 2019 <br /> Community Development <br /> Traffic Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: EXPEDITED SPEED LUMP PROJECTS ON TOURIGA DRIVE AND <br /> CONCORD STREET <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Touriga Drive and Concord Street have qualified for the Neighborhood Traffic Calming <br /> Program and have elected to implement the Expedited Speed Lump Program for their <br /> neighborhoods. Three speed lumps will be located on the middle section of Touriga <br /> Drive (see Attachment 1 for a map of locations) and three speed lumps will be located <br /> on the northern section of Concord Street (see Attachment 2 for a map of locations). <br /> The residents have collected the required signatures by petition, with more than a <br /> strong majority of the residents supporting the plan (72% for Touriga and 79% for <br /> Concord). The City's Streets Division is scheduled to install the six speed lumps in late <br /> October/early November 2019. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Receive Expedited Speed Lump Project information. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The estimated cost to construct the six speed lumps is $10,000 and will be completed <br /> by the Streets Division. Funds are available in the Annual Expedited Speed Lump <br /> Program (CIP No. 20534) to pay for this construction. <br />
