Councilmember Narum thanked the staff for their report and expressed her support for the item. <br /> Councilmember Testa expressed her support for the item. <br /> Councilmember Brown expressed her support for the item and is excited that residents have the <br /> option for 100% renewable for carbon free energy for $4.00 per month. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Pentin/Narum to authorize joining the East Bay Community Energy <br /> community choice aggregation: and direct staff to initiate a timeline for formal action by the City <br /> Council to achieve this objective in calendar year 2021. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Testa, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL - None <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> Councilmember Narum compliment staff on how quickly and efficiently the paving on Foothill Road was <br /> completed. <br /> Councilmember Testa reported on attending the Feed the Need 2019. <br /> Councilmember Pentin encouraged residents to attend the Wheels on Meals Ride 2019 at Shadow <br /> Cliffs Regional Park. <br /> Councilmember Brown advised that she along with BART representative John MacPartland will work on <br /> an evaluation of the landscaping at Hacienda, East Pleasanton and Dublin Station. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:35 p.m. The Council extended a <br /> tribute to our nation's men and women serving in the military.
