change quorum requirements from a fixed quorum to a quorum requirement of the <br />majority of seated voting members. <br />Following discussion, the Youth Commission unanimously voted to recommend that <br />City Council amend the Municipal Code to allow youth members of the Civic Arts, <br />Human Services, Library, and Parks and Recreation Commissions the ability to vote <br />and to recommend a one-year pilot retaining the existing quorum requirement to <br />allow commissions to evaluate before any changes to the Municipal Code quorum <br />requirements are made. <br />The Youth Commission is seeking support from the Human Services Commission on <br />this action. <br />ALTERNATIVE ACTION <br />Any other action as determined by the Human Services Commission. <br />Submitted by: <br />Nicole Thomas <br />Recreation Supervisor <br />Page 4 of 4 <br />
