If an existing backflow preventer is on the site it shall be tested and <br /> certified by an approved tester with the certification submitted to the City's contractor, Aqua <br /> Backflow, before project water is drawn through it. An all-weather cover shall be placed over all <br /> backflow prevention assemblies 4 inch and smaller. <br /> 121. RECYCLED WATER: Recycled water should be used on site during the grading and construction <br /> period. However, under any declared stage of water shortage, recycled water must be used <br /> throughout the grading and construction period. <br /> 122. RECYCLED WATER USE REQUIREMENT: If the site is within the city's recycled water service <br /> area (recycled water distribution system is along route to the proposed application), the irrigation <br /> system must be designed in accordance with the City's Recycled Water Use Guidelines and <br /> Recycled Water Irrigation Standards, per PMC Section 14.06. Refer to PMC Section 14.20 for a <br /> list of exceptions. <br /> 123. RECYCLED WATER USE PERMIT: The applicant shall submit a Recycled Water Use Permit <br /> application and package (as outlined in the City's Recycled Water Use Guidelines available <br /> online), to the Recycled Water Program (925-931-5513). The Recycled Water Use Permit <br /> application and package shall be submitted concurrently with the building permit submittal, and <br /> shall be conditionally approved by the Recycled Water Program prior to building permit issuance. <br /> Final approval by the Recycled Water Program is required before the start of recycled water <br /> service. Refer to PMC Section 14.06 for the regulations of recycled water use. <br /> 124. FOG PROGRAM: Unless it is determined not required by the Director of the Director of <br /> Operations and Water Utilities Department, the applicant shall obtain a wastewater discharge <br /> permit from the Director of Operations and Water Utilities and comply with the grease interceptor <br /> requirements as set forth in PMC Section 15.44. (Project Specific Condition) <br /> TRAFFIC ENGINEERING DIVISION — 925-931-5677 <br /> 125. TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN (TCP): A comprehensive traffic control plan shall be submitted to the <br /> City Traffic Engineer for review and approval. Best management practices to minimize traffic <br /> impacts shall be used during construction, including scheduling of major truck trips and deliveries, <br /> to avoid peak travel hours. The TCP shall have proper lane closure procedures such as flagger <br /> stations, signage, cones, and other warning devices implemented during construction. The TCP <br /> shall also include time of day/hours of lane closures and total number of days. <br /> 126. TRUCK ROUTES: The haul route for all materials to and from the project site shall be reviewed <br /> and approved by the City Traffic Engineer prior to building permit issuance and shall include the <br /> provision to monitor the street surfaces used for the haul route so that any damage and debris <br /> attributable to the haul trucks is identified and corrected at the expense of the applicant. <br /> 127. TRAFFIC IMPACT FEES: The applicant shall pay any traffic impact fees for the development as <br /> determined by the City Traffic Engineer.
