17 <br />a.Parking facilities may be used jointly with parking facilities for other uses <br />when operations are not normally conducted during the same hours, or <br />when hours of peak use vary. Requests for use of shared parking are <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />i.A parking study shall be presented demonstrating that substantial <br />conflict will not exist in the principal hours or periods of peak <br />demand for the uses which the joint use is proposed. <br />ii.A restrictive covenant, easement, or other document acceptable to <br />the city attorney shall be drawn and recorded by the applicant to <br />the satisfaction of the city and executed by all parties concerned <br />assuring the continued availability of the number of stalls <br />designated for joint use. <br />18.46.070 Off-street loading. <br />Off-street loading facilities shall generally be provided for each use as prescribed in <br />Chapter 18.92 of this title, except that the zoning administrator or Planning Commission <br />may establish regulations on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the purposes of <br />chapter 18.74 of this title where it is determined infeasible to provide off-street loading <br />facilities in strict conformance with chapter 18.92. <br />18.46.080 Signs. <br />No sign, outdoor advertising structure or display of any character shall be permitted in <br />the MU districts except as prescribed in Chapters 18.74 and 18.96, as applicable, of this <br />title. <br />18.46.090 Design review. <br />All exterior modifications (e.g., signs, landscape, additions, and other exterior building <br />modifications) in the MU districts shall be subject to design review as prescribed in <br />Chapter 18.20 and 18.74 of this title. <br />Chapter 18.56 P Public and Institutional District <br />18.56.030 Permitted uses. <br />The following uses shall be permitted in the P district: <br />A.Each use and structure existing in the P district at the time of adoption of the <br />ordinance codified in this chapter, May 3, 1960, is declared to be a conforming use and <br />structure. <br />B.Surface parking on the City-owned Transportation Corridor <br />C.Accessory structures and uses located on the same site as a permitted use and <br />the following accessory structures and uses located on the same site with a permitted <br />use or with a conditional use which has been granted a use permit in accord with the <br />provisions of Chapter 18.124 of this title: <br />Resolution PC-2019-15
