The Uniform Mechanical Code, 29-1201 Edition, as amended and set forth in the California <br />Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 4, published by the International Association of Plumbing <br />and Mechanical Officials is hereby adopted, together with all Appendices except as set forth <br />in this chapter. <br />B. The Uniform Mechanical Code (UPC) adopted in this chapter by reference is amended by the <br />following additions, deletions and amendments thereto as set forth in this chapter. Reference <br />numbers herein are taken from the 296 20 California Mechanical Code. <br />C. These regulations shall be known as the Pleasanton Mechanical Code, hereinafter referred <br />to as "this code." <br />D. Where there is a reference in the code to the "Building Official" or "Authority Having <br />Jurisdiction" it shall mean the "Building and Safety Official" or in the absence of the Building <br />and Safety Official, the interim, temporary or acting Building and Safety Official. <br />20.16.020 CMC Chapter 1 Division I amended. <br />Chapter 1 Division I Sections 1.8.4, 1.8.5, 1.8.7 and 1.8.8 are deleted. <br />20.16.030 CMC Chapter 1 Division II deleted. <br />Chapter 1 Division II is deleted and replaced by Chapter 20.04, the Pleasanton Building <br />Administrative Code. <br />20.16.040 CMC Appendix A deleted. <br />CMC Appendix A is deleted. <br />Page 22 of 52 <br />
