CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 618 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, REGULATING THE CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION AND REPAIR OF PLUMBING AND SEWERS, AMENDING CHAPTER 5 of TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AND REPEALING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH WHEREAS, notice has been duly given and published, and hearings ..held pursuant to the provisions of Article 2, Chapter 1, Division 1~ Title 5 of the Government Code relating to the adoption by refer- ence of Uniform Codes and no sufficient protest having been made, and the best interest of the City of Pleasanton appearing to be served by the adoption of this Uniform Plumbing Code; !NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES =! HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: !~'192-13 27 of Article 1, Chapter 5 Title II of the Ordinance Code of i.the City of Pleasanton, dealing with the adoption of a Uniform ':Plumbing Code, is amended to provide as follows: "92-13 27 Adoption of Uniform Plumbing Code There is hereby iZ adopted by the City of Pleasant on that certain code known as the !.[Uniform Plumbing Code, more particularly described below, except such portions as are hereinafter amended, modified or deleted, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and the same shall become in full force and effect at the time this Ordinance becomes effective. Said Uniform Plumbing Code is the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials Uniform Plumbing Code, 1970 Edition, a certi- fied copy of which is on file with the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton." II. .92-13.28cfArticle 1, Chapter 5, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton, relating to amendments and modifications to~ and deletions from the adopted Uniform Plumbing Code is amended so '.~as to provide as follows: 92-13.28 Amendments, Modifications~ Additions to and Deletions from the Adopted Code. The Adopted Code is hereby changed in the following respects: a. Amendments or Modifications. 1. Whenever in the Adopted Code the words "Administra- tive Authority" or "Assistants" are used, they shall mean the Director of Public Works of the City of Pleasanton or his agent as defined in 92-13.32 of this Chapter. 2. 91.12 - Cost of Permit, Paragraph 2 is amended to read as follows: 'Such applicant shall pay for each permit issued, ati the time of issuance, a fee in accordance with the amount set forth in a fee schedule adopted by resolu.- tion of the City Council, and at the rate provided
