From:
Sent:
To:
Subject:
Jennifer, I received the planning commission notice regarding a proposed axe throwing
lounge at 1801 Santa Rita Road. I agree with the a mail sent to you by Robert Gonella.
As a resident of Danbury Park and also as a member of the Board of Directors of the
homeowners' association at that complex, I wish to register my extreme opposition to
any such establishment of an indoor axe throwing lounge.
I cannot believe in this age of mass shootings and increased violence, that the city would
allow such an establishment across the street from a residential development and
adjacent to numerous apartment complexes. This establishment should not be allowed
in this location or at all in my opinion in the city. The city's obligation is to keep it's
residents safe. Such an establishment in my opinion would bean attractive nuisance. Is
this establishment also going to have a liquor license? That would be an even more
volatile combination —liquor and axe throwing. Ridiculous.
This is not a use that should be approved. The application for a conditional use permit
should be denied.
Sue Vigars President, Board of Director's Danbury Park HOA
Click here to report this email as spam.
