THE CITY OF DEEP CLEANING SPECIFICATIONS <br />����� <br />a .��,a, � <br />o � m : m .�.� 1 � �l <br />L� �S�NTQNa <br />INTENT <br />The intent of this specification is to assure that the citizens, customers, and employees of the <br />City of Pleasanton have a well presented, clean, and thoroughly sanitized restroom facility. <br />DESCRIPTION <br />The Contractor shall provide a "Deep Cleaning" of all city restrooms located in city facilities once <br />every thirty (30) calendar days. The Deep Cleaning shall consist of, but not limited to, the <br />following: <br />WALLS /PARTITIONS <br />• High dusting in all areas of restroom. <br />• All walls with the or FRP wall skirting shall be thoroughly washed with appropriate cleaner <br />and disinfected. <br />• All partitions shall be washed from top to bottom without damaging any paper products in <br />dispensers. Partitions shall be streak free when dry. <br />• All stainless steel in restroom including kick plates shall be polished. <br />• Any partition hardware that is damaged or in some other way, not correct, must be <br />reported immediately to the City Representative. <br />• Doors leading into or out of shall be washed to remove; fingerprints, smudges, heel marks <br />etc. <br />SINKS /FAUCETS <br />• All chrome on faucets shall be polished. <br />• All caulk joints around facets or water valves shall be cleaned to remove any build-up or <br />mildew. <br />• All caulkjoints where sink meets wall shall be scrubbed and cleaned to remove any build- <br />up or mildew. <br />• Chrome or stainless drain fitting shall be cleaned. <br />• Entire sink area including under the basin shall be washed and disinfected. <br />• Deck of sink shall be scrubbed to remove any build-up, soap scum, hard water spots or <br />any other discoloration. <br />• Deck mounted soap dispensers shall be thoroughly cleaned and any "caked" soap <br />removed. Dispenser shall be polished and any extra soap that may have dripped during <br />cleaning shall be removed. <br />• Wall mounted dispensers shall be thoroughly cleaned. All soap deposits on the wall or <br />any "splatter" will be scrubbed and cleaned. <br />• All mirrors and frames shall be washed with appropriate window cleaning solution. No <br />streaks or wipe marks shall be visible when dry. <br />Page � 45 <br />
