Housing Commission
<br /> In cooperation with the community and the development and construction industry, the
<br /> commission is responsible for initiating and pursuing opportunities for developing, promoting
<br /> and retaining affordable housing within the community and the region. Recommend policies
<br /> related to affordable housing. Provide oversight of City affordable housing developments.

<br /> Advise the City Council on the human service needs of the community and methods of fulfilling
<br /> these needs. Particular emphasis is given by the commission to the human service needs of
