SECOND AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT CITY ATTORNEY <br /> This Second Amendment to Employment Contract City Attorney (Second <br /> Amendment) is made and entered into August , 2019, between the City of <br /> Pleasanton and Daniel Sodergren. <br /> WHEREAS, Daniel Sodergren has served as Pleasanton's City Attorney since <br /> 2016 pursuant to an Employment Contract City Attorney dated April 19, 2016, as <br /> amended by the First Amendment dated April 19, 2017 (collectively the Contract); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed City Attorney Daniel <br /> Sodergren's performance, noted legal guidance provided to accomplish City Council <br /> Work Plan Priorities, counsel for litigation, and considered his compensation in light of a <br /> salary survey. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises expressed in this <br /> Second Amendment, the parties agree as follows: <br /> A. Section 3. Compensation of the Contract is amended to provide that the annual <br /> salary shall be $226,800 effective as of the date of this Second Amendment. <br /> B.
