THE CITY OF <br />"IIIN <br />- . # 5 ,,, � ,,, <br />PLEASANTON. <br />CIVIC ARTS COMMISSION <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />August 5, 2019 <br />Item 4 <br />TITLE: REVIEW AND DISCUSS THE LIBRARY AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT <br />STRATEGIC PLAN 2019-2024 <br />SUMMARY <br />The Pleasanton Library and Recreation Department, with the direction and support of <br />Management Partners, spent the last year working to create a strategic plan that will <br />guide Library and Recreation programs and services for the next five years. Input for <br />this strategic plan was received by City Management, Library and Recreation staff, and <br />community members through surveys. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Review and Discuss the Library and Recreation Department Strategic Plan 2019-2024. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no financial component to the strategic plan itself. Individual projects may <br />require funding and will be addressed through the budget process. <br />
