CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 611 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED <br /> TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. 65 <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />~iFOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> I. <br /> <br /> The City Council does hereby make the following findings: <br /> <br /> (a) On June 29, 1970, the City Council did pass and adopt <br /> Resolution No. 70-147-A, giving notice of the intention <br /> to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of <br /> Pleasanton. Said territory was designated as Annex No.65 <br /> and did describe the boundaries of the territories pro- <br /> posed to be annexed. <br /> <br /> (b) Said Resolution No. 70-147-A contained notice of the time <br /> and place for the Council of the City of Pleasanton to <br /> hear protests made by any person owning real property <br /> within the territory proposed to be annexed. Said time <br /> of hearing was not more than thirty days from the date of <br /> passage of the Resolution. <br /> <br /> (c) On August 17, 1970, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., in the <br /> Council chambers, at the Justice Court, 30 W. Angela StreW' <br /> in the City of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of <br /> California, the said City Council held a public hearing. <br /> By Resolution No. 70-179 the City Council determined that <br /> protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of <br /> the value of the privately owned territory proposed to be <br /> annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, <br /> nor by public owners of one half of the value of the <br /> publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as deter- <br /> mined by said legislative body. <br /> <br /> <br />
