CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 609 <br /> <br /> i]AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED <br /> ~TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION N0.64 <br /> <br /> i~THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> !FOLLOWS: <br />t <br /> <br /> I. <br /> <br /> ~The City Council does hereby make the following findings: <br /> <br />~] (a) On May 25, 1970, the City Council did pass and adopt <br /> Resolution No. 70-11Z, giving notice of the intention to <br />~ annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of <br />!~ Pleasanton. Said territory was designated as Annex No. 64 <br /> and did describe the boundaries of the territories <br /> proposed to be annexed. <br /> (b) Said Resolution No. 70-117 contained notice of the time <br /> and place for the Council of the City of Pleasanton to <br />;~ hear protests made by any person owning real property within <br />!~ the territory proposed to be annexed. Said time of hearin~ <br />i' was not more than thirty days from the date of passage of <br /> the Resolution. <br /> (c) On July 6, 1970, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., in the Council <br /> chambers, at the Justice Court, 30 W. Angela Street, in <br /> the City of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of Cali- <br /> fornia, the said City Council held a public hearing. <br /> By Resolution No. 70-150, The City Council determined that <br /> protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of th~ <br /> value of the privately owned territory proposed to be <br /> annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor <br /> <br /> by public owners of one-half of the value of the publicly <br />ii <br /> <br /> owned territory proposed to be annexed as determined by <br /> said legislative body. <br /> <br />:. <br /> <br />ii <br /> <br /> <br />
