THE CITY OF 416 <br /> ___�_ CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON_ <br /> July 16, 2019 <br /> Engineering <br /> TITLE: ACCEPT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS PERFORMED BY THE PRESSURE <br /> GROUT COMPANY FOR THE VINEYARD AVENUE SEWER TRENCH <br /> REPAIR PROJECT, CIP NO. 18233 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> This project consisted of injecting grout into the existing unstable sewer trench along <br /> Vineyard Avenue, between Sauterne Way and Clara Lane, to stabilize the soil around <br /> the sewer pipe. City Council awarded this construction contract to The Pressure Grout <br /> Company on December 18, 2018. Construction of the project is complete and ready for <br /> City Council acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the project as complete and authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of <br /> Completion for the project. <br /> 2. Authorize payment of the retention on the amount of $6,523.20 to The Pressure <br /> Grout Company 30 days after the recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> 3. Transfer the remaining project balance of $55,520 to the Sewer Replacement CIP <br /> fund. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for this project totaled $189,050, including $39,055 transferred from <br /> the Annual Sewer Replacement Project, CIP No. 17202. <br /> Expenditures for the project totaled $133,535, leaving a balance of $55,520 in the <br /> project fund. Staff recommends transferring the remaining balance back to the Sewer <br /> Replacement CIP fund. <br />
