Ruby Hillers Upper Potable Reservoir(Ruby) is a 1.5 million-gallon <br /> on-grade welded steel reservoir. Moller Potable Reservoir(Moller) is a 500,000-gallon on-grade welded <br /> steel reservoir. Laurel Creek Potable Reservoir(Laurel) is a 350,000-gallon on-grade welded steel <br /> reservoir. These three tanks will be rehabilitated with new linings and new cathodic protection systems. <br /> V&A Consulting Engineers, Inc. (V&A) has designed the cathodic protection systems for the Ruby, Moller, <br /> and Laurel Reservoirs, and is providing bidding assistance.V&A is prepared to provide construction <br /> assistance as well. <br /> Per your request, the following is our proposal and detailed scope of work for the subject services: <br /> Scope of Work <br /> Task I Description <br /> 3. Construction Assistance: <br /> a. Pre-construction Meeting: Attend up to a 2-hour pre-construction meeting. <br /> b. RFI and Submittal Review: Provide up to 24 hours to review and respond to up to 9 contractor <br /> submittals (including re-submittals) and RFIs for the cathodic protection systems. Time spent <br /> over 24 hours will be invoiced on a time and materials basis at the rates shown on the attached <br /> Resource Allocation Estimate. <br /> c. Final System Energization: V&A will perform the final energization and CP system adjustments <br /> after construction is complete. V&A will prepare a letter report with the tank-to-water potentials <br /> and the final output of the anodes. Issues identified will be resolved by the contractor at no <br /> cost to V&A. This proposal is based on one site visit. Requests for additional site visits to verify <br /> resolution of construction issues will be invoiced on a time and materials basis at the rates <br /> shown on the attached Resource Allocation Estimate. <br /> V&A proposes to complete this work on a time and materials basis at a total cost not to exceed $13,182 <br /> with terms of net 30 days. This fee is valid for 90 days from the date of this proposal. The scope of work <br /> was developed as a result of our discussions and represents our mutual understanding. <br /> Estimated costs for the above project scope are itemized in the attached Resource Allocation Estimate. <br /> These costs represent our best estimate at this time and may change subject to future developments <br /> during the project. It is possible that some of the estimated manpower requirements for specific task <br /> items may increase while others may not require the entire anticipated effort.
