ECHO Housing-Summary of Services Provided During Prior Contract Term <br /> From April 2018 through March 31, 2019, ECHO Housing has also successfully met <br /> objectives set forth in its agreements with the City. Highlights include the following: <br /> • Conducted two (2) 8-hour First Time Homebuyer (FTHB) Workshops for lower <br /> income households that included 18 Pleasanton residents. The workshops <br /> educated attendees on budgeting, understanding credit, selecting a realtor and <br /> lender, the escrow process, and home maintenance. <br /> • Provided Pre-Purchase Counseling to five (5) Pleasanton residents. The <br /> counseling services included activities, such as financial education and credit <br /> repair counseling, which prepare first time homebuyers for <br /> homeownership. Attendees also were provided with information on mortgage <br /> financing opportunities provided through a variety of local, state, and federal <br /> programs. <br /> • Planned and marketed nine (9) ECHO Housing's Introduction to Homebuyer and <br /> Affordable Homeownership Programs Workshops in Pleasanton and <br /> Livermore. There were 253 participants who attended the workshops. <br /> • Serviced 636 phone and email inquiries for Pleasanton and Livermore. <br /> • Compiled and maintained a list of 94 households seeking housing opportunities <br /> through the Affordable Housing Programs in both Pleasanton and Livermore. <br /> • Compiled and maintained a list of over 40 local lenders, realtors, and title <br /> companies that are available to provide services to households interested in first <br /> time homebuyer opportunities. <br />
