CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 603 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION (f) OF ~2-5.38, TITLE II, <br /> OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> I. <br /> <br /> Subsection (f) of ~2-5.38, Title II, of the Ordinance Code of the <br /> City of Pleasanton, is hereby amended by the deletion of the words~~ <br /> "side or," and "subject to the limitations prescribed in Sec. 2.10 <br /> (Traffic Sight Obstructions)~' said subsection as amended to provide <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 2-5.38 Side and Rear Yards: Requirements and <br /> Exceptions. <br /> <br /> (f) Fences, walls and hedges not over six feet in <br /> height, and walks, driveways, and retaining walls! <br /> may occupy a required rear yard." <br /> <br /> II. <br /> <br /> This Ordinance shall be published once within 15 days after its~ <br /> ,, <br /> adoption in "The Times, a newspaper of general circulation, pub- <br />~'lished in the City of Pleasanton, and shall be in force on the <br /> thirty-first day after adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City! <br /> ofPleasanton onjune"l, 1970. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on June 8, 1970, by the following vote: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pear~0n Spiliot~ulos and <br /> Mayor Reid /" / <br /> NOES: None /i.~/ <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> ROBER~ I.
