RESOLUTION NO. 19-1098 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ADOPTING <br /> THE FY 2019/20 and FY 2020/21 OPERATING BUDGET <br /> WHEREAS, biannually the City Council adopts a two-year operating budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, at a public meeting on June 4, 2019, staff presented a report regarding the <br /> recommended Operating Budget for FY 2019/20 and FY 2020/21. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1: Council adopts the FY 2019/20 and FY 2020/21 Operating Budget provided <br /> in Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 2: Authorizes the City Manager to add up to the following three positions <br /> during FY 2019/20: Fire Inspector, Architect, and Community Service Officer using monies <br /> included in the General Fund contingency. <br /> SECTION 3: Authorizes the City Manager to add up to the following three positions <br /> during FY 2019/20: Instrument Technician and 2.0 FTE Utility Operators using monies included <br /> in the Water and Sewer funds contingency. <br /> SECTION 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on June 18, 2019. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of June, 2019 <br /> by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum.
