RESOLUTION NO. 19-1102 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING <br /> THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE ADDING THE PASSPORT EXECUTION FEE AND THE <br /> HAPPY VALLEY SPECIFIC PLAN PRO-RATA WATER AND SEWER INFRASTRUCTURE <br /> FEES <br /> WHEREAS, the City Clerk's Office has been designated as a U.S. Department of State <br /> Passport Acceptance Office and the passport execution fee set by the federal government is <br /> proposed to be included in the Master Fee Schedule; and <br /> WHEREAS, since the 1998 adoption of the Happy Valley Specific Plan and construction of the <br /> Callippe Preserve Golf Course and related over-sized public water and sewer infrastructure in 2004, <br /> owners of existing and new homes which connect to city utilities have been required to pay their pro- <br /> rata share of water and sewer infrastructure. These costs are being formalized in the Master Fee <br /> Schedule as they have been historically collected. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Amends the Master Fee Schedule to: <br /> Add to Section I. General and Administrative Fees, Subsection B., City Clerk, a US Passport <br /> Execution Fee in the amount of$35.00. <br /> Add to Section IX. Water, a new Subsection H. Happy Valley Specific Plan Water Main Pro- <br /> Rata Share fee in the amount of: <br /> $16,793.55 for existing home including service lateral cost <br /> $14,490.43 for existing home excluding service lateral cost <br /> $47,683.90 for new home including service lateral cost <br /> and annual 4.5% interest rate adjustment. <br /> Add to Section X. Sewer, a new Subsection D. Happy Valley Specific Plan Sanitary Sewer <br /> Main Pro-Rata Share fee in the amount of: <br /> $15,758.40 for existing home including service lateral cost <br /> $12,895.83 for existing home excluding service lateral cost <br /> $28,525.25 for new home including service lateral cost <br /> and annual 4.5% interest rate adjustment. <br /> SECTION 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a <br /> regular meeting held on May 21. 2019. <br /> I.
