ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, ADOPTING <br /> THE FY 2019/20 and FY 2020/21 OPERATING BUDGET <br /> WHEREAS, biannually the City Council adopts a two-year operating budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, at a public meeting on June 4, 2019, staff presented a report regarding the <br /> recommended Operating Budget for FY 2019/20 and FY 2020/21. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> Section 1: Council adopts the FY 2019/20 and FY 2020/21 Operating Budget provided in Exhibit <br /> A. <br /> Section 2: Authorizes the City Manager to add up to the following three positions during FY 2019/20: <br /> Fire Inspector, Architect, and Community Service Officer using monies included in the General Fund <br /> contingency. <br /> Section 3: Authorizes the City Manager to add up to the following three positions during FY 2019/20: <br /> Instrument Technician and 2.0 FTE Utility Operators using monies included in the Water and Sewer funds <br /> contingency. <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> Section 5: City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of <br /> original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a <br /> regular meeting held on June 18, 2019. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of June, by the <br /> following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Daniel Sodergren, City Attorney <br />
