Exhibit A <br /> • Chapter 1.24 Administrative Citations: §1.24.010 is amended to read as follows: <br /> 1.24.010 Applicability. <br /> A. This chapter provides for administrative citations which are in addition to all other legal <br /> remedies, criminal or civil, which may be pursued by the city to address any violation of this <br /> code. The code includes the Pleasanton Pioneer Cemetery Rules and Regulations, as <br /> amended, and adopted pursuant to Section 2.08.190. <br /> B. The administrative citations process set forth in this chapter does not apply to continuing <br /> violations of this code that pertain to building, plumbing, electrical, or other similar structural or <br /> zoning issues. <br /> C. Use of this chapter shall be at the sole discretion of the city, subject to subsection B of this <br /> section. <br /> • Chapter 2.29 Youth Commission: §2.29.070 is amended to read as follows: <br /> 2.29.070 Organization. <br /> A. Commissioners shall meet in regular session and elect a chairperson and vice chairperson. <br /> The election shall be a majority vote of the commission, to be held in September of each year. <br /> The term of service for these offices shall be one year, from September to May. No <br /> commissioner shall serve more than two consecutive full terms as chairperson of the <br /> commission. <br /> B. The commission shall conduct its meetings and business in accordance with the <br /> Commissioner's Handbook as said rules and procedures may be amended from time to time. <br /> C. The chairperson shall: <br /> 1. Preside at all meetings; <br /> 2. Appoint commissioners as needed to serve on subcommittees, ad hoc committees, <br /> and as representatives on other boards and commissions; and <br /> 3. Call special meetings. <br /> D. The vice chairperson shall preside in the absence of the chairperson. <br /> E. The city manager shall appoint a city employee to serve as staff liaison who shall also serve <br /> as secretary to the commission. The staff liaison/secretary to the commission shall keep true <br /> and accurate accounts of all action of the commission. <br /> • Chapter 2.38 Housing Commission: §2.38.020 is amended to read as follows: <br /> 2.38.020 Duties. <br /> A. The commission shall be responsible for advising the city council on both the affordable <br /> housing needs of the community and the methods for meeting these needs. <br /> B. The duties of the commission shall include the following: <br /> 1. Initiate and pursue opportunities for developing affordable housing within the city. <br /> 2. Cooperate with the private housing industry, city commissions and regional agencies <br /> to produce new affordable housing and/or to maintain existing affordable housing. <br /> 3. Make recommendations to the city council and/or establish policies regarding <br /> affordable housing projects affiliated with the city and the housing authority including preference <br /> and eligibility criteria for city assisted housing, informational documents, available grant <br /> applications, and new affordable housing programs. <br />
