EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES FIRST RESPONDER ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT AGREEMENT (7/1/2019) <br /> 3.5 Primary Service Area <br /> City,within the area designated herein as City's Primary Service Area,which includes the <br /> entire area within the City of Pleasanton,and as described in EXHIBIT A-DEPICTION AND <br /> DEFINITION OF CITY'S PRIMARY SERVICE AREA. <br /> SECTION 4- FIRST RESPONDER COOPERATION/DESIGNATION <br /> 4.1 City's personnel shall cooperate fully with transporting ambulance personnel to facilitate <br /> the timely and effective transfer of patient care at the scene; according to Alameda County <br /> EMS policy. <br /> 4.2 City agrees that FRALS units shall be staffed to provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week <br /> coverage and meet the performance standards mutually agreed to and set forth in this <br /> Agreement. <br /> SECTION 5- PERFORMANCE STANDARDS <br /> 5.1 Response Times <br /> City's response time for requests for emergency medical services shall be dispatched <br /> according to MPDS categories and shall meet the following performance standards: <br /> a. City's Response Times shall be calculated on a monthly basis for reporting purposes to <br /> determine performance using Percentile (Fractile) Response Time measurements. <br /> Response Times for departments with low call volume (less than 100 calls per month) <br /> shall be calculated once the City has responded to 100 calls. <br /> b. City's Response Time for Services in the Primary Service Area shall meet the <br /> requirements in Table A,below. City shall make a best effort to achieve a 90% <br /> performance level based upon the Response Times in TABLE A-PERSONNEL AND RESPONSE <br /> TIME REQUIREMENTS. <br /> c.
