EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES FIRST RESPONDER ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT AGREEMENT (7/1/2019) <br /> • <br /> City's breach threatens public health and safety, County may immediately terminate this <br /> Agreement. <br /> b. City shall be responsible for all costs incurred by County due to termination for cause. <br /> SECTION 16 - GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> 16.1 Permits and License <br /> a. City shall be responsible for and shall hold any and all required Federal,State or local <br /> permits or licenses required to perform its obligations under the Agreement. <br /> b. It shall be entirely the responsibility of City to schedule and coordinate all applications <br /> and application renewals as necessary to ensure that City is meeting its obligation under <br /> the Agreement and is in complete compliance with Federal, State and local requirements <br /> for permits and licenses as necessary to provide the services. <br /> c. City shall be responsible for ensuring that its employee's State and local certifications as <br /> necessary to provide the services, if applicable,are valid and current at all times. <br /> 16.2 Observation and Inspections <br /> a. County representatives may at any time directly observe City's operations at the <br /> dispatch center or Fire Stations that house FRALS units. Prior to any inspection the <br /> County shall notify the on-duty officer at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance. <br /> b. A County representative may schedule a ride-along on any of City's units, provided that <br /> in exercising this right to inspection and observation, County representatives conduct <br /> themselves in a professional and courteous manner, shall not interfere with City <br /> employee's duties,and shall at all times be respectful of City's employer/employee <br /> relationships. <br /> c. A County representative may schedule during normal business hours and as often as <br /> may be reasonably deemed necessary, meetings to examine any EMS related business <br /> records, including incident reports, patient records, financial records related to EMS <br /> billing of City pertaining to the provision of emergency medical services. County may <br /> audit,copy,make transcripts, or otherwise reproduce such records as needed for County <br /> to fulfill its oversight role. If requested by the County, City shall have 10 business days to <br /> provide requested documents. <br /> d. County shall notify City of any critical issues discovered during an observation or <br /> inspection. <br /> Page 15 of 24 <br />
