RESOLUTION NO. 19-1088 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE NEW EMERGENCY MEDICAL <br /> SERVICES FIRST RESPONDER ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT SERVICE <br /> AGREEMENT (FRALS) BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Pleasanton, through the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department <br /> Joint Powers Authority, operates five (5) First Responder Advanced Life Support (FRALS) units; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Pleasanton, along with all other agencies/cities in Alameda <br /> County that provide FRALS services, has an agreement with the County of Alameda that <br /> defines FRALS services, details reimbursement funding and memorializes other pertinent <br /> matters as related to the delivery of FRALS services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the current Agreement with the County of Alameda will expire on June 30, <br /> 2019; and <br /> WHEREAS, the new FRALS Agreement is a five (5) year agreement starting on July 1, <br /> 2019 and expiring on June 30, 2024. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council approves the First Responder Advanced Life Support <br /> (FRALS) Agreement as described in Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 2. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to sign the new First <br /> Responder Advanced Life Support (FRALS) Agreement. <br /> SECTION 3.
