F I R STCA R B O N Augment SPOTORNO PROJECT EIR—ADDITIONAL SERVICES Task A: Additional budget to complete the Administrative Final EIR The city received 267 individual comments on the Draft SEIR, and FCS has expended approximately $23,739 in preparing the Administrative Final EIR for submittal on November 5, 2018. Task B: Additional budget to complete the Screencheck Final EIR Based on the volume of comments received, FCS expects that the level of effort for the screencheck FEIR will also exceed the amount included in the contract. We request an additional $2,800 to complete the Screencheck Final EIR. Task C: Additional Effort by Fehr & Peers to Complete the Final EIR and attend public hearings Fehr& Peers estimates that an additional$2,500 is required to cover costs associated with preparing responses to comments and attendance at public hearings. Task D: Cost to print the Final EIR The cost to print the Draft EIR totaled approximately$4,600. We expect that the cost to print the final would be similar. Our contract did not include any direct costs, although the scope noted that copies of the Draft and Final EIR would be provided to the City. FCS respectfully requests to correct this oversight by using contingency funds to cover the actual cost to print the Final EIR. ADDITIONAL BUDGET The contract includes$18,340 to complete the Final EIR, as shown below. The table also depicts estimated costs to complete the FEIR based on the volume and complexity of comments received. FCS estimates that an additional$22,479 will be required to complete the Final EIR and public hearings.
