THE CITY OF 1 1 b <br /> -•• `°--� CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLE ASANTON, <br /> May 21 , 2019 <br /> City Manager <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (FY 2019-20) FOR THE USE OF <br /> FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Pleasanton will receive $317,784 in federal CDBG funds for federal Fiscal Year 2019 <br /> (2019/20). At the May 21 meeting, staff is also recommending that the Council take <br /> action regarding the allocation of federal CDBG funds for FY 2019 as part of the <br /> allocation of Housing and Human Services Grant (HHSG) funding to local non-profit <br /> agencies. This report summarizes the Annual Action Plan that must be submitted to <br /> HUD in order for the City to receive its FY 2019 allocation of CDBG funds. The report <br /> makes a recommendation to approve the Annual Action Plan. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the Annual Action Plan for federal Fiscal Year 2019 and direct staff to submit to <br /> HUD by the June 14, 2019 deadline. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The approval of the annual Action Plan will not have a direct fiscal impact on the City. <br /> As noted earlier, the City will receive $317,784 in CDBG funds for FY 2019 (2019/20). <br />
