13.08.090 Goods or services - Exhibitions, private lessons and classes. <br /> No person shall: (a) sell any goods or services; (b) conduct or maintain any show, <br /> performance, concert, place of amusement or exhibition; or (c) conduct private lessons or classes <br /> unless such person has received the prior written permission of the director. This section shall <br /> not apply to sidewalk vendors as defined in section 6.38.010 of this code. <br /> Section 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that there is no possibility the <br /> adoption of a sidewalk vending ordinance and the amendment to its peddling ordinance will have <br /> a significant effect on the environment. Accordingly, under the provisions of § 15061(b)(3) and § <br /> 15378(b)(5) of Division 6 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations, the CEQA Guidelines, <br /> the adoption of this ordinance is not subject to the requirements of the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act. <br /> Section 6. Should any section, clause, or provision of this Ordinance be declared by the <br /> Courts to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or parts <br /> thereof, other than the part so declared to be invalid. <br /> Section 7. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after <br /> its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation, and the complete <br /> ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days <br /> after its adoption. <br /> Section 8. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its passage and adoption. <br /> The foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on May 7, 2019 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Jerry Thorne, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Daniel G.
