THE CITY OF 2 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLESANTON. <br /> May 7, 2019 <br /> City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> TITLE: INTRODUCE AN ORDINANCE ADDING A NEW CHAPTER 6.38 TO TITLE <br /> 6, REPEALING SECTION 11.64.120, AND AMENDING SECTIONS 6.36.010 <br /> AND 13.08.090, OF THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO <br /> SIDEWALK VENDORS AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE <br /> CITY'S MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO ADD A SIDEWALK VENDOR FEE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Recently approved Senate Bill 946 ("SB 946") limits the City's ability to regulate <br /> sidewalk vending unless the City adopts specific regulations; therefore, staff is <br /> recommending establishing by ordinance regulations for sidewalk vendors. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Introduce an ordinance adding a new Chapter 6.38 to Title 6, repealing section <br /> 11.64.120, and amending sections 6.36.010 and 13.08.090, of the Pleasanton Municipal <br /> Code relating to sidewalk vendors and adopt a resolution amending the City's Master <br /> Fee Schedule to add a sidewalk vendor fee. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> No financial changes will result from the approval of the proposed ordinance. <br />
