SECTION 25 RULES AND REGULATIONS · The Collector may make rules and regulations not inconsistent ~with the provisions of this ordinance as may be necessary or desir- iable to aid in the enforcement of the provisions of this ordinance. SECTION 26. ENFORCEMENT It shall be the duty of the Collector, and he is hereby direc- !ted to enforce each and all of the provisions of this ordinance, and the Chief of Police shall render such assistance in the enforce. ment hereof as may from time to time be required by the Collector or the City Council. The Collector in the exercise of the duties imposed upon him hereunder, and acting through his deputies or duly authorized assis. ,!tants, may examine or cause to be examined any place of business iiin the City to ascertain whether the provisions of this ordinance ~ihave been complied with. The Collector and each and all of his assistants and any !!police officer shall have the power and authority (upon obtaining iian inspection warrant therefor) to enter, free of charge, and at ~!any reasonable time, any place of business required to be licensed !~ re'n, and demand an exhibition of its license. Any person having he m iisuch license theretofore issued, in his possession or under his con~ !}trol, who wilfully fails to exhibit the same on demand, shall be ~guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to the penalties provided for ~bY the provisions of this ordinance.
